Kevlar® gloves are used for general-purpose work applications to provide cut and abrasion resistance, using high-performance yarns, to further protect the hands when working with sharp objects. The black color of these gloves helps to hide dirt and grime, so they maintain their appearance for longer periods of time. Gloves with a polymer coating offer improved grip and durability for tougher jobs. The 9178NF features a 13 gauge black DuPont™ Kevlar®/Synthetic shell with a black nitrile foam coating on the palm and fingertips.

Fit needs adjustment

These gloves are the second and third pair I've ordered, as the first ones, size Medium, are really tight and may hinder using them for holding rocks to grind/polish. So I ordered two sets of Large, and they fit better in the palm and most fingers, but the fourth and little fingers are too long, so it's a bit off, but I think I will be able to work with them, as those fingertips shouldn't be crucial to getting a good grip. I hope you work on the fit of these and come up with more standard sizes.

I use them with a biting dog I have and they are not 100 percent puncheon proof. They do definitely limit the amount of punctures there can be. And most importantly the depth I wish they could be just a bit more puncture proof without losing the mobility. They are better than the others I have tried though because I have a lot more mobility in them.

I am almost 3 weeks in with these gloves. I thought being Kevlar they would last a really long time, but they are starting to rip between the thumb and finger. Disappointed.

Work good. A little snug at first but broke in just fine afte about a week. I work in a jail and I use them as search gloves for cut resistant glove you can't beat the price. I will buy these again.
