Item#: ELV-FS-18ARC10 Description
Designed for use in extreme thermal energy conditions, the FS-18ARC10 specialty face shield is suitable for Arc Flash Hazards. With a thermal energy resistance rating of 12 cal/cm², it can withstand the energy release as per ASTM 2178-08 standards and is classified as PPE Category 2. The arc shield is compatible with Elvex visor brackets and slot adaptors, which can be easily mounted on most slotted safety helmets. It has been certified and tested by Kinectrics High Current Laboratory to ensure its reliability and effectiveness.
Note: NFPA 70E requires users to wear a safety cap, NFPA 70E rated balaclava, safety glasses and ear plugs with an Arc face shield.
