The Squids 3785 Split Ring Tool Attachment, available in a 10-pack, is engineered to provide an expanded retrofit attachment point for tools with small captive holes, enabling the tethering of tools up to 2lbs // 0.9kg. This design effectively prevents tools from dropping or falling while on the job. Finding suitable connection points for tool lanyards is often challenging, particularly for smaller hand tools with limited attachment options. While working at-heights, it is important to tether tools as part of your overall fall protection plan, but the lack of these connection points can make that difficult.
STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATIONTo install, simply open the split ring with a pair of ring pliers and thread through tool’s captive hole and turn until the ring is fully connected. Built with a strong, plated steel, these split rings are durable.
TESTED TO BE TRUSTEDThese split rings are built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause damage, injuries or possibly death. These attachments are third-party certified to 2lbs // 0.9kg maximum capacity and meet the ANSI/ISEA 121 standard with all required labeling.
Ideal for those tethering tools in construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind energy, manufacturing or other jobsites where dropped objects are a risk.
