The Skullerz 8978 Intrinsically Safe Headlamp Light is designed for effortless attachment to any Skullerz Hard Hat, Safety Helmet light mount, or Headlamp Mounting Straps. Specifically engineered for hazardous locations where there's a high risk of explosions due to fumes or fine dust, this safety light meets Class I, II, and III / Division 1 safety standards.
This battery-operated hard hat light features a slim profile and an 8-position tilt design for visibility where you need it most. A one-button switch supports two working modes: low and high. High mode (216 lumens for 5 hours) is for maximum light and low mode (75 lumens for 12 hours) is for dimmer light.
Requires 3 AAA batteries (included). This hard hat light has a drop-test rating of 6.6ft and is IP97 rated for dust and water resistance.
Ideal for worksites where head protection and/or additional lighting is required in industrial facilities with hazardous locations, including construction & utility job sites, oil & gas, road work, forestry, mining and general site work.
