The Fibre-Metal Supereight Swingstrap hats and caps provide the most advanced head protection on the market. They offer unparalleled comfort with a 360-degree padded sweatband and head-hugging stability. In case of impact, the SuperEight impact energy control system effectively dissipates the force by spreading it over a greater area. The full brim offers extra protection from harmful sun rays and falling hazardous substances. And the patented Swingstrap allows workers to convert their cap from the normal wearing position (and back) without removing, reversing, or reinstalling the suspension headband. All of these Fibre-Metal Supereight Thermoplastic protective hats and caps have been certified by SEI to meet ANSI Z89 in both the forward and reverse positions.

I would much prefer something made in the USA. Having said that, this hard hat is light years ahead of the junk at Home Depot. The price is a little high, but since the money isn't worth much anymore, does it matter?

I ordered 2 of these hard hats. The hat itself and the bands seem durable. My only complaint is that one hat had a warped brim. It will still do its job, and I can live with it, but it is worth noting. Overall, I'm satisfied.
