Fibre-Metal Supereight Swingstrap hats and caps set the standard for advanced head protection. Unique in their design, they blend the unmatched comfort of a 360-degree padded sweatband with exceptional stability. The SuperEight system effectively manages impact energy, diminishing it into smaller fractions and dispersing it more broadly. The full brim provides additional safeguarding against harmful sun exposure and substances that might fall on the neck and shoulders. These caps are designed for versatility: when equipped with a welding helmet, face shield, or goggles, the patented Swingstrap allows workers to easily switch their cap's position without needing to remove and readjust the suspension headband. All Fibre-Metal Supereight Thermoplastic protective hats and caps are SEI-certified to ANSI Z89 in both the forward and reverse positions.

I would much prefer something made in the USA. Having said that, this hard hat is light years ahead of the junk at Home Depot. The price is a little high, but since the money isn't worth much anymore, does it matter?

I ordered 2 of these hard hats. The hat itself and the bands seem durable. My only complaint is that one hat had a warped brim. It will still do its job, and I can live with it, but it is worth noting. Overall, I'm satisfied.
