The MK8 Evolution® is a superior industrial safety helmet that not only meets but also surpasses the ANSI Z89.1-2009 standard for Type II impact protection. In fact, it is the only helmet in the world currently that meets the tougher European standard EN14052, which is the most significant advancement in industrial head protection in more than 45 years. This helmet is designed to provide maximum protection in high-risk environments while ensuring comfort with its high-density EPS liner and ultra-comfortable harness. What sets MK8 Evolution® apart is its ability to protect from SIDE IMPACTS and SIDE PENETRATION to the same extent as ANSI Z89.1 Type I testing, with a coverage area that is almost 20 times larger.

- Offers Side (Lateral) Impact Protection which reduces the force of impact resulting from a blow which may be received off center as well as to the top of the head

Side impact is no joke. This hard hat has been working overtime in an industrial scale composting facility. The vented top is very functional and the beefed up headliner will be your best friend.
