An estimated 33% of head injuries sustained in the workplace are caused by impact when workers fail to use head protection*. This is particularly true in restricted workspaces and areas with limited vertical clearances, which can result from overhanging shelves or pipes. The HardCap Aerolite is an improved version of the popular JSP HardCap A1+, offering impact protection and meeting the EN812 standard for impact resistance. Weighing in at less than 5 ounces, the Aerolite is the best-performing lightweight bump cap on the market.

- The protective HDPE liner is removable, so the outer cap is fully washable with a plastic brim

Applications
Designed as a safeguard against accidental bumping or scraping of the head. Ideal in areas where hard hats are not required. Bump caps are NOT designed for use in ANSI designated hard hat areas.
Care Instructions
The liner may be cleaned with soap and warm water and dried with a soft cloth. Chemical or abrasive cleaners should not be used. The cover is machine washable to 104°F/40°C maximum. The cover can be tumble dried on a low setting only. This product should be stored out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals and not exposed to extremes or temperature.

Lightweight and comfortable, but the red liner is not secure at all and falls out easily. Velcro is ineffective.

Very light and comfortable. Lots of ventilation. The only thing I see that may be a problem is the elastic headband in the back. It seems to be pretty flimsy and I expect that will be the thing that fails. Make that more substantial, or a non-elastic strap and it would be a 5-star item.
