MCR Safety's Luminator Series provides an array of high-visibility garments tailored for applications that demand maximum visibility. With different color options and reflective materials to choose from, the series ensures that you have the right garment for your needs. The 518C is a 49-inch fluorescent lime coat that features dual silver reflective stripes around the torso and stripes over each shoulder. It also comes with a hideaway hood, a snap front with a storm fly, and meets or exceeds ANSI/ISEA Class 3 high visibility standards. This garment is treated to be limited flammability, although it is not flame-resistant as defined by ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Section 10.5.
MCR Safety 518C Features:- ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class 3, Type R compliant
- .40mm polyurethane/knitted cotton-polyester blend
- Coat with attached drawstring hood, hide away hood
- Snap front
- Limited Flammability, NOT intended for use as protection against ARC Flash or Flash Fire
- This garment is not flame resistant as defined by ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Section 10.5.
MCR Safety's Limited Flammability Garments have been tested in accordance with the ASTM D-6413-08 test method. The purpose of this test is to determine whether a fabric will continue to burn after the source of ignition is removed. This is NOT a test for Arc Flash resistance! These garments must not be worn for protection against Arc Flash or Electrical Fire. Before making any recommendations concerning the use of these garments, always inquire as to what ASTM or NFPA test regiments are required for the end user application.
