So I'm an electrician who bought these gloves just to keep my hands from getting scratched. I was driving a ground rod when the ground rod driver lifted up off of it and I continued to drive it down. Pinching my hand between the ground rod and the driver putting a hole in my hand but barely even puncturing the glove. The glove held up My hand did not.
