The Big Jake brand, known for its durable gloves, has now expanded into a line of protective garments. The Big Jake II series maintains the flame-resistant qualities of the original Big Jake Rainwear, using a similar PVC / Nomex material. Notably, the Big Jake 2 is lighter and has a higher calorie rating for added protection. The BJ238PW features an elastic waist pant with adjustable hook and loop ankles and a snap fly front. Its fluorescent lime background and dual two-inch silver reflective stripes are in compliance with ANSI 107 Class E standards. Additionally, it meets the ASTM F1891 Standard for Arc and Flame Resistant Rainwear and the ASTM F2733 Standard for Flame-Resistant Rainwear for Flame Hazards protection. The BJ238PW achieves an HRC2 / CAT2 ARC rating with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 11 cal/cm2. Be seen and be safe in MCR Safety’s Big Jake FR rainwear.
