MSA hard hats with ratchet suspension meet all of the requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z89.1-2014. These hard hats are considered Type I, Classes E (Electrical) and G (General). This is a top selling hard hat that features an easy-to-use, fast-to-adjust suspension with a lightweight, polyethylene shell. The hardhat is balanced on the head with nylon fabric suspension straps and they are popular in industries such as construction work, trimming tree branches, and overhead electrical hazards. The hat is sold separately and is identified by the "V" that is on the top of the hat.
